Spring board Courses are launching an enterprise programme for job seekers to be ran in the Docklands innovation Park. The part-time course, a diploma in Enterprise Development is accredited by DIT. The programme material will include workshops in product development, organisation, finance, marketing, sales and digital skills but more importantly the programme will focus on giving you the entrepreneur the confidence in your own ability to achieve success. The Programme Team will match you with an experienced mentor who will work with you to research your business idea, test market your concept/product and prepare you to reach a trading position. You will be part of a community when facing the opportunities and problems that all small start-up businesses encounter and you will learn the tools to modify your proposal from our experienced team of trainers and mentors.
Entry requirements of the course expect applicants to have passed their Leaving Certificate and/or hold a third level qualification and have at least 5 years work experience. All applicants will be interviewed by the Programme team and will get to see the facilities in the Docklands Innovation Park. Those with an interest in starting a business or with an interest in self employment as a career will be considered for a place. However those without all of these requirements shouldn’t be discouraged. For any applicant who does not hold a Leaving Certificate, the Dublin Institute of Technology Recognition of Prior Learning policy will be followed. This policy encourages applicants over 25 with some work experience to apply.
