The Docklands Business Forum identified the opportunity for tourism in the area way back in 2013.
More recently, along with others, we have been working with Fáilte developing a tourism
programme for Docklands. Fáilte have kindly developed a KNOW Dublin Docklands Local Experts
Programme to support those involved in the tourism industry.

Permission Granted. U2’s Visitor Centre at Grand Canal Quay is expected to attract 390,000 visitors a year and add to Docklands attraction as a tourist hub.

By informing visitors what’s on in Docklands where to get a coffee a meal or even just telling them where they can have an interesting walk we can all help each other grow tourism in the area. Please do send a member of your team along to one of the workshops. They are free and conveniently located in the Spencer Hotel.

This programme will commence with an interactive workshop on what to see and do. Sign up by choosing from one of the following workshop events as there is limited availability for tickets.

Tuesday, 26th February @ 10.00am (Registration from 9.30am)

OR

Tuesday, 26th February @ 6.00pm (Registration from 5.30pm).

The programme will also feature social media initiatives, a Local Experts Pass and opportunities to
network with other tourism businesses and interests.
