Ciarán Flanagan


Ciaran is an active committee member of the Docklands Business Forum since 2010 and has served as Chairman of the Docklands Business Forum from 2013-2015 as well as Marketing Chair from 2011-2013. He was one of the founders of the Docklands Summer Festival (annual attendance in excess of 70,000) and Dublin Riverfest (annual attendance in excess of 90,000) both set up on behalf of DBF. He also represents the business community of South Dublin as a member of the South Dublin Policing Committee which sits in City Hall quarterly and recommends policies and activity in relation to crime, traffic and other policing issues.

He is the MD of IDEA an internationally award winning Creative and Digital Agency Group which has been successfully operating since 1996. In addition he is the founder and MD of Biobank Ireland a Cancer Research Foundation with research centres in St. James Hospital, Cork University Hospital and Galway University Hospital.
